The above quote from Bertrand's collective writings is one that inspired the name of this blog, and will serve as the general theme for postings of quotes, excerpts of writings, musings, and other random thoughts on the meaning of "the good life" by me and others who have an interest in better understanding what the good life means to them, and how to live it.
